1. Criteria and Brief

Grading Criteria:

P3 – Demonstrate the use of editing tools to edit and manipulate images

P4 – Create original graphic images to meet a defined user need

P5 – Modify images as a result of user feedback

M2 – Justify the software, tools, file format, image resolution and colour depth used for creating graphic images.

Creative Brief:

We are a newly reformed volunteer organisation that wants to promote the use and development of Kingswood Park. We want the graphics to be fresh, new and different to the type of logos and graphics you normally associate with parks etc. With this in mind please consider the following:

• The graphics should portray a sense of community
• They should express ‘use’ of the park – we want to encourage participation
• We are open to any colour combination – you have a blank canvas in this respect
• Kingswood park is one of only two ‘Heritage’ parks in Bristol – something to perhaps consider for the letterhead and newsletter
• We would like the graphics to have a ‘youthful’theme
• Please DO NOT include any CROWNS or TREES in the logo design

The graphics you will be required to produce are the following:

• A new logo
• A banner for our social media page
• A letterhead
• A revised template for our newsletter
